25% Deposit Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why are you offering a deposit now and balance later option?
    - Some items are on a longer lead time and not all customers are comfortable paying in full then waiting 6-8 weeks or 8 to 10 weeks, so for some of these items we are able to take a 25% deposit now and the balance before delivery.

  • Is it available on all products?
    - No. Only products displaying the qualyifying graphic have the 25% deposit option. However if it is not availble for the item you are interested in, please email us to see if there is anything we can do.

  • Do I have to create an account if I want to pay a deposit?
    - Yes. Click the My Account link or if on a mobile device, select the head icon next to the basket icon. Then complete the details.

  • Why do I need to register?
    - You need to create an account so that at a later stage you can log in and pay your order balance.

  • How do I pay the deposit for the item I want?
    - There is an option to pay Instalment, select this and then check out as normal. Your emailed order confirmation will display what you have paid and the balance to pay.

  • When will the balance be due?
    - We will email you requesting payment just before the item(s) arrive in the manufacturers UK warehouse. This will be around the estimated lead time that is shown on the product and on your order confirmation. If you have seen a due date, please ignore this. We will email you when the balance payment is due.

  • How do I pay my balance?
    - In the email which we will send there will be instructions, however it is very simple. Log on to your Online Furniture World account, select 25% Deposit Payment Orders from the menu. Click the pay link. For the line showing remaining amount, select the pay box then choose to pay by card or Paypal then finally click Pay Balance.

  • Can I pay my balance early?
    - Yes you can at anytime, just log on to your Online Furniture World account.

  • My balance is due, can I have my delivery first then pay the balance?
    - No. All balances must be paid before the order is released to the carrier, no exceptions will be made.

  • I have paid a deposit and have now changed my mind, can I get a refund?
    - Yes. Please email us your request to cancel and we will refund your deposit in full.
